County Commissioners
The Commissioners are part-time elected officials responsible for overall supervision of county departments, buildings and land, and exercise budgetary oversight of all county expenditures.

County Delegation
Under NH RSA 24:13 the Delegation has the power to (a) To raise county taxes; (b) To make appropriations for the use of the county; (c) To authorize the purchase of real estate for County use, the sale and conveyance of County real estate; (d) To authorize the erection, enlargement or repair of County buildings exceeding an expense of $25,000; and (e) To issue bonds for County debts.

County Lands & Annex Subcommittee
Carroll County Delegation voted February 27, 2023 to appoint a Lands Committee to recommend future uses of the County's 800+/- acres. In June 2023 the Delegation expanded the committee to include future use of the old nursing home (Annex). Current members are Rep. Mark McConkey (R-Freedom), Rep. Richard Brown (R-Moultonborough, Rep. David Paige (D-Conway) and County Commissioner Bill Nelson (R-Brookfield)
