Mountain View Community

Welcome!

On behalf of the staff and residents, welcome to the Mountain View Community. We are pleased that you have chosen to be a member of our community. As a resident of Mountain View, we make a commitment to provide you with comprehensive care through an interdisciplinary team consisting of your doctor, the nursing, social service, dietary, physical therapy and recreational therapy staff, and your family. We feel that understanding your medical history and past experiences are a vital part of planning your care. We will work together with you to best meet your needs.

The following information is provided to help answer some of your questions and help you know what to expect as a resident of Mountain View. If we can help provide you with further information, please let us know.

The Mountain View Community is located in Ossipee New Hampshire and is a 103-bed Nursing Facility owned and operated by the County of Carroll. As a Medicare and Medicaid certified community, we offer skilled rehabilitation and nursing center options. Your fellow residents are here for a variety of reasons. Some are here short term to get stronger and return home after a hospital stay. Others are here longer term because they need care that is unavailable or impractical in a less restrictive environment.

All of our rooms are located as part of a small neighborhood. Each resident enjoys a private suite, a bathroom, including shower and ample closet space. The rooms are located just off the common living areas, making it easier for the resident to move independently in the neighborhood. The staff paging system uses text messaging, rather than bells to maintain the peaceful environment of the home.

Mountain View is a place for the staff to provide you with these services. The staff members are trained to offer support and encouragement. Contact with your family and friends are encouraged. The community has flexible visiting hours so that your family and friends can visit. We welcome and encourage family members to visit during meal time any day and particularly on special days and holidays. Rooms are available if you wish to have guests in for small parties or gatherings.

All residents are encouraged to decorate their room with personal possessions as space permits. Most of our residents have their own television, a favorite chair, their own bedspreads and have decorated their rooms with pictures and plants from home.

As our mission statement says, we are here to "provide an environment in which you can enjoy the highest possible quality of life." Please let us know if there is anything we can do to be of service to you.

Warm Regards,

Rich Leboeuf, NHA
